Hi everyone! My name is Christina Jacobson. I am an artist from Northern Minnesota. I love to paint indoors and outdoors depending on the weather, and the type of piece I'm working on. My works come mainly from the inspiration of my environment and places I've traveled to. Though I do live paintings of specific sceneries, my favorite works to do are from my imagination.
About Me.
I started painting when I was little, and have grown to love art more throughout my life. I paint because I enjoy capturing moments in time that I experience. I also like to paint my ideas of what a beautiful experience would be. Usually, I try to portray emotions in my art with inspiration from the beauty and peace in life. Most of my inspiration comes from traveling around and everyday life experiences.

Pricing
Many different things go into how I price my art and products. I want to be reasonable in my pricing for both the customer and myself. I understand art can be overpriced as it is a luxury good and a competitive market. I want to make my prices as affordable as possible, while still making a living.
My Art Style and Medium
The mediums I work with are usually acrylic and watercolor. The material I paint on is usually canvas or paper, though I am open to any ideas when working on a commission.
Faith
I am a practicing Catholic, my faith is a big part of my work. So every work I do is close to my heart. If any ideas for commissions go against my faith I will have to respectfully refuse them. I understand many have different belief systems however given that my art is largely affected by my relationship with Christ, I must do work that is fruitful for all who may be influenced by it, including myself.
